The families of Long Hill Montessori School enjoyed their first annual Cookies and Cocoa Celebration on Friday, Jan. 29 to celebrate community and new ownership. Children were busy all week grating chocolate, whipping cream and slicing strawberries for this delicious and fun event.
Families enjoyed delicious hot cocoa and cookies prepared by the children. Children were so proud to share their work with their parents and alumni siblings. The children announced and unveiled the beautiful signs they made for the new classroom names, The Acorn Room and The Oak Room.

Two long-time teachers at Long Hill Montessori School have taken over ownership of this well-established Long Hill preschool and kindergarten.
Both directors, Fiona McDonnell-Rouse and Kelly Pitoscia-Legiec, live in nearby Berkeley Heights.
After serving 12 years collectively as teachers at Stirling’s Long Hill Montessori School, Rouse and Legiec are the proud new owners of a school that specializes in Montessori education for children from preschool through kindergarten.
